What is pallet wrap?
Pallet wrap (also called plastic wrap or shrink film) is a strong, stretchable material used to stabilise, protect, and secure palletised goods during storage or shipping. Our rolls are designed for manual shrink wrapping, meaning the user would hold the with a hand on each end of the protruding cardboard tube, and manually wrap the pallet without the aid of a machine. This helps to keep loads safe, clean, and tamper-evident.
What's the difference between clear and black pallet wrap?
- Clear shrink wrap: offers product visibility, making it easy to identify stock in warehouses.
- Black shrink wrap: conceals contents for security and tamper evidence, while also shielding pallets from sunlight.
What do the micron thicknesses mean?
Micron (mu) refers to the thickness, or strength, of the shrink wrap roll. We offer a range of micron’s:
- 12 micron: lightweight, economical and suitable for light loads.
- 17 micron: everyday general-use options.
- 23 micron: stronger, ideal for medium-to-heavy pallets.
- 28 micron: maximum protection for very heavy or sharp-edges products.
Do your pallet wrap rolls need a dispenser?
No dispenser is needed with our extended core shrink wrap rolls, as the cardboard core doubles as built-in handles. For mini stretch wrap (100mm), we recommend using our mini stretch wrap handle for fast, tangle-free application.
Is pallet wrap recyclable?
Yes. Our cast shrink film is made from recyclable polythene. Once used, the film can be recycled in most industrial and commercial waste streams.
How many rolls come in a case of pallet wrap?
The mini stretch wrap has 40 rolls per case.
The clear and black shrink wrap has 6 rolls per case.
Which pallet wrap is best for security?

What's the difference between cast film and blown film?
